Of Captains and Kings are all set to play on the Edgar Davies Rock Stage during the afternoon of Saturday 23rd August 2014 at this year’s music and arts festival.

They are a new band from Birmingham in the UK who have rapidly gained a loyal following due to their catchy hook –laden songs and high energy performance’s ……
The summer of 2013 saw Of Kings And Captains support Bon Jovi on their UK tour, which stopped off at 5 major stadiums playing to over 200,000 people, The band has also played alongside top UK artists including ‘The Enemy, ‘Kids in glass houses’ and ‘The Futureheads’. The Band have just been confirmed as support for American pop—Rockers Wheatus when they visit the UK in September later this year.

Of Kings And Captains have recently gained support from nation station Absolute radio and have also seen their music on weekly rotation by Kerrang radio unsigned.
The band were also billed as “the band to watch out for” by BBC introducing and have been a regular feature on regional broadcasts from the station. Of Kings And Captains have since received a proposal request from Universal Music Group and interest from UK label Domino records.
