This years ‘Short Film Festival’ was the best yet!

The screening started with a variety of short films from around the world covering subjects from, ‘what would happen if you were made of plastic?’, ‘The meaning of life’, through to ‘the logistical issues of being a dwarf vampire’!

The second half was focused more locally with film makers around Shropshire and the Black Country, screening their short films with talks and Q & A sessions from the film makers themselves. Everyone was impressed with the turnout, the quality of the films and with how interesting it was hearing the filmmakers talk about their films.

This event is growing year on year and we have already started to think of what to do for next year. It is great to have the continuing support from the James and the Majestic Cinema, as there are not many cinemas left in the country where you can just walk in and ask if they would let you put on a one day film festival. It is great to have such a community spirited place like this here in town.
