With the weather looking uncertain the day got under way with the fantastic Delta Rhythm, a four piece rock band hailing from Birmingham. Next up was Minerva, a Prog Rock band from Telford.

The day lit up when the amazing Theia took to the stage, a young band oozing with energy and destiny to go far. A return to Bridgnorth in the future is a must. Continuing the high energy, 4th on the bill was Voodoo Sioux a band with a twenty year plus history, for many the highlight of the day. Next a great set from Welsh Rockers Defy all Reason.

Filling in between bands were acoustic artists Dan Williams, John Walker, Mark Leedham and Phil Gywnne

Up next Martyr de Mona, played songs of their Impera album. Martyr de Mona had played at Bloodstock earlier in the year so it was an absolute pleasure to have them at the Edgar Davies.

The weather stayed dry all day and after a very short break and final sound check, up next it was the “After Dark Stage”. The Troy Redfern’s Acoustic band Carnivále Republic got the evening show under way, a guitar lead, electro acoustic quartet.
Butterfly Stone headlined what was a superb end to a great day at the Edgar Davies. Playing songs from their first album butterfly stone and songs from the movie Snow Queen 1 and the Snow Queen 2. Music without compromise and as one spectator described them “wouldn’t sound out of place doing the soundtrack to the next James Bond Film”.
